As the Senior Trust Administrative Assistant at First PREMIER Bank you will perform a wide variety of administrative services primarily for the assigned Trust Administrator.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare agendas, reports, updates, documents and minutes for Trustee Meetings.
  • Understand the Department’s policies and procedures. Apply applicable policies and procedures to assigned tasks. 
  • Communicate with operations to effectuate money movement and the payment of bills as directed by the Trust Administrator and/or the client.  Insure that such transfers are completed timely and accurately. 
  • Work with Trust Operations to add and remove assets from accounts as necessary.
  • Interpret, understand and comprehend legal and financial documents as well as legal and financial terminology. Must be able to read and understand basic terms of Trust Agreements.
  • Assist with gathering information for the completion of complex insurance documents

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Must possess basic understanding of Trust Department and banking systems
  • 5 + years  of experience in previous Trust Associate role or similar applicable experience preferred
  • Must know and understand federal and state regulations associated with nature of Trust business
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Ability to concentrate and work independently.
  • Attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills. 
  • Ability to handle stress, exercise self-control, adhere to company policies and procedures and uphold the PREMIER Way.
