Trust Operations Accountant – Dorsey & Whitney Trust Company LLC

Dorsey & Whitney Trust Company LLC is seeking a full-time professional for its Sioux Falls office reporting to its resident Chief Financial Officer.

Responsibilities include –

  • Develop and maintain detailed working knowledge of trust accounting system and operations support provided by third party vendor.
  • Process asset receipts and deliveries, account-to-account transfers, asset re-registration, income receipts, and distributions to or on behalf of trust beneficiaries or other account principals and all related actions.
  • Review and reconcilement of accounts, ledgers and reports for accuracy; research of discrepancies and timely initiation of corrections or adjustments.

Strong analytical and organizational skills are essential to prioritizing, systematizing, and executing multiple tasks timely and accurately in the face of frequent interruptions.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or business administration or equivalent experience. Desired background: experience with Windows Operating System, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Outlook and SEI Wealth Platform desirable.
