Description of Roles
These are full-time roles for a Senior Trust Officer and Trust Officer I, II, or III, located in Sioux Falls, SD. The Trust Officers will be responsible for managing client relationships, advising on estate planning strategies, overseeing trust administration, and ensuring fiduciary responsibilities are met. The role also involves collaboration with financial planners and other professionals to develop and implement tailored financial and trust solutions for clients.
Qualifications
- Ability to build and maintain trusted client relationship
- Proficiency in South Dakota Fiduciary and Trust Services
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven track record in trust administration or a related role
Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience required
- At least eight years of related experience required for Senior Trust OfficerAt least five years for Trust Officer IIIAt least three years for Trust Officer II
- CTFA, JD, CFP, CFA, CPA, or other related designations strongly preferred or willing to pursue
Specific Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:
- Familiarity with legal fiduciary responsibilities
- Familiarity with South Dakota Trust law
- Familiarity with account compliance responsibilities
- Ability to process detail work accurately and timely
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions
- Team player
