SDTA Partners to Offer Trust Administration Courses Fall 2024

The South Dakota Trust Association is excited to partner with the University of Sioux Falls to offer classes in trust administration again this fall. Trusts I will be offered again and it’s a great foundation of South Dakota trust administration not only for those in college, but also for those who are new to the trust industry. The plan is to offer Trusts II and III in following semesters based on demand. 

Spring 2024 BUS 391 Trust 1 – USF & SDTA Online Class has been approved by the ABA Professional Certifications for 40 CE credits.

American Bankers Association (ABA) Professional Certifications has approved 2024 BUS 391 Trust 1 – USF & SDTA Online Class for:

40 CTFA credits. APPROVED NON-ABA CE search for training will appear as: South Dakota Trust Association | all 2024 BUS 391 Trust 1 – USF & SDTA Online Class

*Approved program may take up to 7 days after approval to appear in CE Search

 Attendee Instructions to self report for CE Credit

1. Log into certification record at aba.csod.com  

2. Hover over ADD CE CREDIT select APPROVED NON-ABA CE

3. Enter key word(s) from program title or sponsor name and      Select program from search results

4. Click Request and when page refreshes click Mark Complete

Here are a few FAQs:

  • Classes will be held August 27 to December 13, 2024
  • Deadline to register is August 20th
  • Class is online only, with no required meetings. There will be optional Zoom meetings throughout the class that will be recorded.
  • Classes will run Monday to Sunday, with due dates for weekly assignments most likely being Sunday evenings.
  • Total tuition cost is $1,230 – $410 per credit hour for 3 credit hours. Books are an additional fee.
  • The class will be taught by industry professionals.
